Hrustljavi cvetačni polpeti, ki jih boste pripravljali znova in znova
Cvetačni polpeti so okusen in vsestranski dodatek k vsakemu kosilu. Lahko jih postrežete kot glavno jed z rahlo solato, kot prilogo k mesnim ali ribjim jedem ali pa kot zdrav prigrizek. Njihova hrustljava zunanjost in nežna notranjost bosta navdušili vse ljubitelje zelenjave, tudi tiste, ki običajno niso veliki oboževalci cvetače. Recept vam razkrivamo v nadaljevanju tega članka.

Ingredients: -1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets -50g breadcrumbs -50g grated cheese (I used cheddar) -salt and pepper -1 garlic clove, minced -1 large egg, lightly beaten -2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped -a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil Instructions: 1. Steam the cauliflower for about 6-7 minutes, then drain. 2. Add to a bowl and mash lightly with a potato masher. 3. Add in the breadcrumbs, grated cheese, salt, pepper, garlic, egg and parsley. Stir to combine everything. 4. Form the patties by rolling a ball in your hands and press tightly. Arrange them to a baking tray that was previously brushed with a drizzle of olive oil. 5. Bake them in your preheated oven at 200°C/392°F for 18-20 minutes, flipping half way through. In the last minute you can broil them until well browned. 6. Serve with your favourite dip. Sestavine:
- 1 srednje velika cvetača
- 50 gramov drobtin
- 50 gramov naribanega sira
- sol in poper
- 1 strok česna
- 1 veliko jajce
- 2 žlici svežega peteršilja
- malo olivnega olja
Postopek:
Cvetačo operite in razdelite na manjše cvetove. Kuhajte jo v slani vodi približno deset minut, dokler ni mehka.
Kuhano cvetačo odcedite in jo dobro pretlačite v večji skledi.
Dodajte drobtine, nariban sir, sesekljan česen, jajce, peteršilj ter sol in poper po okusu. Vse sestavine dobro premešajte, da dobite enotno maso.
Iz mase oblikujte manjše polpete.
Na srednje močnem ognju segrejte malo olivnega olja v ponvi in polpete pecite od tri do štiri minute na vsaki strani, dokler niso lepo zapečeni in hrustljavi.
Pečene polpete odložite na papirnate brisače, da se odcedi odvečno olje. Postrezite jih tople, po želji s solato, jogurtovo omako ali kot prilogo h glavnim jedem.
