Odzivi na upokojitev Federerja
"Želel bi si, da ta dan ne bi nikoli prišel"
Roger Federer, eden od najboljših teniških igralcev, je v četrtek sporočil, da končuje svojo športno kariero. Kmalu za tem so se odzvali številne športnice in športniki. Med njimi tudi Rafael Nadal, njegov največji tekmec in tudi zelo dober prijatelj.
Družbena omrežja so skoraj pregorela
Roger Federer ni samo velik športnik, ampak tudi velik človek. Svoj vtis je pustil tako na teniških igriščih kot ob njih. Številni so prepričani, da je Baselčan eden od najbolj prepoznavnih in uspešnih športnikov vseh časov, ki ima navijače po vsem svetu. Temu primerno so se odzvali tudi številni športniki na družbenih omrežjih.
Eden izmed prvih, ki se je odzval, je Rafael Nadal. Španec in Švicar sta bila na igrišču velika tekmeca, zunaj igrišča pa velika prijatelja. Majorčan je uvodoma zapisal, da bi si želel, da ta dan nikoli ne bi prišel. "To je žalosten dan zame in za šport po vsem svetu. Bilo mi je v veselje in tudi v čast, da sem ta leta s teboj delil toliko čudovitih trenutkov na igriščih in zunaj njih," je povedal Nadal, ki je prepričan, da bosta tudi v prihodnje lahko počela veliko stvari skupaj.
Rafa ima trenutno največ zmag na turnirjih za grand slam. Igralca sta odigrala 40 medsebojnih dvobojev. Boljšo statistiko ima Rafa (24:16).
"Brez tebe tenis ne bo več isti"
"Bil si največji idol in navdih zame in tudi za druge. Hvala ti za vse," je zapisala njegova rojakinja Belinda Bencic, s katero sta tudi skupaj igrala.

Oglasili so se tudi organizatorji Wimbledona
Danes 41-letni Federer je zelo velik pečat pustil tudi v Wimbledonu, kjer je slavil sedemkrat. Oglasili so se tudi organizatorji najbolj prestižnega turnirja. "Kje naj začnemo? Pogrešali bomo tvoj pogled na naša igrišča, kar lahko zdaj rečemo, je hvala za spomine in veselje, ki si ga dal številnim."
